Someone using a trainer would stick out like a sore thumb and would probably get banned by Squeenix for obvious reasons. I'm not sure about JC 1&2 but JC3 uses and arcade style leaderboard system for most of their single player activitites. Any manipulation of the game files during gameplay can led to a ban in those cases.īut as far as i know Just Cause 1+2 are single player games so you can cheat as much as you want with trainers. But i would advise against using trainers in games that are protected by VAC or similar systems. Are trainers legal? Since they are basically ways of hacking the game, doesn't this violate Steam's ToS (terms of service) as well as any license agreement from the company that made the game? I know it doesn't involve pirating the game, but usually games have license agreements that prevent reverse engineering, and of course in order to make a trainer EXTENSIVE reverse engineering had to be done (determining where in memory the different variables are stored, where in memory the spawning function code is, etc).
